Master of Arts in Social Policy

Description of the course
MASP is designed to prepare professionals for policy leadership in national and local governments, non-government organizations, civil society organizations, research institutions and other similar settings, with a focus on the rights of the child. The course is targeted for early and mid-career professionals engaged in policy work in a wide variety of organizational settings as well as students with other advanced degrees related to social work, public administration, public health, laws and economics.

Entry Requirements
• MQA level 7 qualification in a relevant field OR
• Twenty Five years old AND an MQA level 6 qualification in a relevant field AND at least 4 years of work experience in a related field OR
• Twenty Five years old AND an MQA level 5 qualification in a relevant field AND at least 8 years of work experience in a related field OR
• Twenty Five years old AND an MQA level 4 qualification in a relevant field AND at least 10 years of work experience in a related field OR
• English language requirement: If the candidate’s prior qualification was not in English, the applicant must have a certificate in English proficiency equivalent to an IELTS overall score 5.5
